Home Based Business

I have noticed that many people confuse a home based business with a at home job. At home job means your being hired by someone to work at home. Although, that would be nice, those are difficult to find if you do not have proper experience. This is what lead me to looking for home based businesses. I found a site, put in my information and next thing you know, I was starting my own home based business.

Home Based Business

My Home Based Business Story

I decided to try a particular business because it was mainly online and there was a possibility of residual income. So many people told me to not pay for anything. However, what most don't realize is that a home based business is a BUSINESS. Your starting your own business and you do have start up costs. Just as if you were to start a franchise with Godfather's Pizza, you would have to pay at least $10,000. Did I pay that much for the online business? I would rather die. No it was very manageable even with my husband and my very strict budget. It is about $500 to start up.

Once I signed up, I was immediately put into training. This was great for me. I have a mentor that is there as well as training calls to help with any questions that I may have. I am never alone, and nothing is too difficult. It is a very easy business but does require calling people (only if they give you their information, no cold calling) and customer service. Overall, this seems to be a great fit for me. Everything happens to be step by step.

So you may be asking why I am writing this. Am I trying to sell you on a business? No. I want people to know that there are opportunities out there.

So anyways, I have gotten my websites up and within a day, I have 6 prospects, which is incredible. If a few of those sign up, I will get my money back for what I put into the business. I am so excited that I found this opportunity.

What you need to pay attention for before you sign up with a home based business:

1) Check to see how long the business has been around.

2) What products would you sell?

3) Are those products something that everyone needs?

4) Look for consumer complaints. It is easy to find blogs where people will say it's a scam but if there are no consumer complaints behind it, it is more than likely because they failed and had poor work habits.

5) Look for the facts about the business. Are they in debt? How's their sales?

6) See if anyone you know personally has dealt with the company.

There are quite a few more that I will add over time. Just because I want to offer the same opportunity that I got, if you want to check out the website, it is on my profile.

I wish you all the best and Happy 'home based business' Hunting!

Update: Being in the business for a few more weeks now, my projected amount of business for this month is $10,000. That means I should get about $1,000-$2,000 in profit!!!
